Wealthy postcode have more timeshare holidays

A new postcode survey has revealed the huge gaps in income between families living just a few miles apart in Norwich.

The report went on to state that postcode area was likely to go a long way to dictating what people do in their spare time.

According to the research wealthy areas have a high frequency of: timeshare holidays, visits to coffee bars, yoga, skiing and trips to Pizza Express.

While lower income postcode areas enjoy: tent holidays, bingo, wrestling, games consoles and eating at KFC.

...I wonder how they wil use these survey results :o)

Buying Resale Timeshares

When Lynda Bettcher visits her daughter in New York this August, she and her husband will stay in a one-bedroom suite at the four-star Affinia Dumont hotel. While Orbitz.com and the hotel's Web site advertise rates from $312 to $519 a night, the Bettchers' nightly rate will be just $287. Their deal: They're using a time-share plan purchased in the growing resale market.

The industry -- long slammed for its high-pressure sales tactics and exorbitant prices and fees -- has been evolving. In 2002, consumers paid an average $14,500 to purchase a time-share week.
